    I have never run the Frederick Half but it seems a bit hilly after looking at the elevation map and this girl I met at the Baltimore Half told me how its really nice and fun because its through a quiet town vs a big city.

    I've heard the same thing about Frederick. I know a bunch of people who ran it last year and loved it. I'm thinking of going for the Marlyland Double in 2012.

    Good for you...I ran the Fredrick half a few years back and had a blast...nice easy run...a few hills thrown in of couse especially at the end but it was fabulous and then I got a nice massage at the end...

    I believe Zooma is at the end of April.

    I just found a 5k and 10k to run. Need to work up to the big one...lol

    I'm in Baltimore County so runs are somewhat close to me:

    There's a 10k in Ellicott City (June I believe)
    A 5k in Westminster (around April or May)

    Clyde's 10K in Columbia is on April 15, I think.

    Clyde's 10k is a GREAT race. It's crowded enough to be motivating but not so much that it inhibits your running. And the post race food is really good. I've run it several times and may just do so again this year.
