Hey all.
Lets come up with a challange using the LS walking ABS with belt 3 mile DVD.

I don't have that dvd. However, I am sure others will enjoying doing the challenge. Currently, some of us from the thread are completing a challenge for November.0

I have these DVD's and have been looking for a way to fit working out into my schedule, I will take these out tomorrow morning! I need to get moving, I am not working at all and after my 1 hour commute I have no energy!0

I don't have that dvd either I have the Ultimate Collection and I love it. I am doing the challenge with CorinthiaB for November. So far I have logged 14 miles since November 1st.0

Hello group! I am doing the November challenge also.
One thing I would like to hear from the group is what is your favorite DVD and why? I am using one with the weights and have the one with the band but haven't opened it yet.

I currently have the 4 Fast Miles, 5 Mile Fat Burning and the 5 Day Slim Down. I like all because I can get a great burn for my weight and not have to spend hours upon hours doing it.0 -

Is Saturday the last day for this week then? Or is it a week from today? I'm going to be doing 5 miles a day starting up tomorrow, but just want to be clear about the end of the week. I have the Leslie Sansone's Walk Your Way Thin: Walk It Off & Tone It Up and absolutely love it! It's helping me put a big dent in "The Hobbit" mission that I'm doing. After that's done, I'm going to the Lord of the Rings mission. Yes, I am just that much of a geek and that's not even the half of it.0

Hello everyone! I hope it is not too late to participate in this group. I have the Walk Away The Pounds 5 Mile Fat Burn and I do enjoy working out to this DVD. There is 21 more days in this month and I plan on walking 40-45 miles this month. If it is too late to join in on this challege, I will just keep a look out for the next WATP Challenge. 27 miles so far this month. I have 6 DVDS and my favorite is the 5 fat burning miles! i just got the 3 really fast miles and the music is weird. Love Leslie and her walkers!0

I don't have that one either. I will have to look for it. I've been using 5 Really Big Miles with the band. Love it. Did 4 miles of it today with boosting & burned 500 calories!0

It's never to late to start unless your after the deadline! The group is to encourage people to get out there and go go go and help us make it through the holidays that are up comming Please note if your a runner or a power walker this challange isn't for you....it mostly aimed at people how are ; new, needing to workout more and need incentive. It's a challange not a I'm just gonna win since I can go go go already type of challange.
I'm currently working on the rules...what started out as a simple challage for beginner, people in a rut...has turned into a little more.
So I'm working on the rules and incentive
I will post them either tonight yet or tomorrow and it will be open for questions then and we will get started offically on November 14th I know it will end on Jan 8th and there is a reason for that which will be disclosed in the rules

New to the community or getting back into the swing of things
Need to work out more or in a rut
Need incentive
It's a challenge not a challenge for someone who has things under control.
CHALLENGE REWARD -
I have a STAINED GLASS NICE GEOMETRIC PANEL that has one of your names on it and will be determined by if you finish the challange and follow the rules without problems. Your name will go into the hat and one lucky person will be drawn out of the hat by a thrid party that isn't in the challange.
PLEASE DON"T email me saying...I have to work so I can't get my miles in this week.....you know you work or have kids or whatever...so plan ahead. The challange is for those of us that are serious and take responsiblity for our decisions and actions and don't whine or make others the fault of why they can't do things....sorry pet peeve of mine.
Please note any shipping, taxes, duties etc is the winner responsibility. Shipping will be actual shipping and not inflated If you live close by and want to pick up the window we can do that with an arranged time for pickup. I will make nothing off of the panel or shipping....I do things like this to help people and instead of donating money this year to a foundation I've decided to donate a panel to a person who tries to be come healthy...It's that simple.
CHALLENGE GOALS -
Meet new people and make friends
Provide support for each other
Keep on track through the holidays…they always are a booger with all the temptations around
Have fun and remember or learn exercise is rewarding, easy to do and fun once you get the hang of it. My guess is you will want to do it every day because you will find out it releases stress, gives you a feeling of success and you lose weight quicker.
RULES –
It’s simple, so let’s keep it simple
1. Minimum of three (3) consecutive miles in ONE (1) work out three (3) days a week. Example of what not to do: 2 miles in the AM + 1 mile in the PM. The more miles you do the better so you can do the Min plus more
2. You have to sign up BEFORE November 14th, 2011 by emailing BrendaPetersen through MFP. By signing up you agree to all the terms and rules.
3. End of challenge date is January 1st, 2012. Final report will be posted within the week and WINNER announced.
4. The week runs Monday through Sunday
5. Send an email through MFP to BrendaPetersen on Sunday stating
A. What you pledge to walk that week the more the better for you
B. Your total miles walked for the current week.
C. Your current weight
6. Make your Food and Exercise diary available for other to see as well as complete the diaries everyday...this helps others on MFP to get idea on what to eat and new ways to exercise. If you don’t fill them out or miss days then don’t enter the contest please.
7. Be truthful on your diaries and emails. If anyone clocks more miles than they did your out of the contest....it's an honor thing… and usually someone does find out through others or by your weight lose and or measurements….they don’t lie
8. You can’t be currently in another challenge or sign up for one until this one is completed. It’s not fair to the others in the challenge.
9. If you miss a week and don't report your miles on time your OUT...please reread the CHALLANGE REWARDS section as to why.

Discovered that our cable TV on demand has fitness TV (who would have ever thought????!!) and I found the Start Walking 3 mile, which I just did. This will work until I get one of her DVDs. I was quite surprised that I actually liked it because I never thought I'd be much of one to do exercise to a video, but rather only in real life at the gym or with others. Thanks, Brenda for the challenge! :bigsmile:0

I did a total of 9 Miles (11/14 & 11/15). My total so far is 14 miles and I am working toward 30 miles by the end of November.0
