I manage an Anytime Fitness, and so far we have been open for 9 weeks.
The first 9 weeks have been a baptism of fire for me - just about every situation that could come along has come along - I jokingly tell all my friends that I really have had around 2 years experience with dealing with everything!
Not coming from a gym background means that there is a very steep learning curve taking on this challenge, but so far I think I've earned my stripes.
Love to hear from others who can help with ideas on situations, brainstorming for marketing and making members happy!
