First, I'm not a parent .... yet. But we're hoping to be someday in 2012.
But for you parents who love tennis. I wanted to pass along one of USTA's newest tennis programs designed for kids.

The concept was simple. Many felt that a tennis court, the adult racquet and ball can be intimidating for kids. Especially the younger kids. For baseball, there is t-ball. For football, there's pee-wee football. Heck even basketball has equipment and baskets that are designed for little kids. So, why not tennis?
The courts where I played have already adopted the format and the kids in the neighborhood love the sport. You will start seeing that the next generation producing healthier kids and more avid tennis players.
When we have kids, hope to introduce them to the game and share the love for the sport.
