    I have lived the first 25 years of my life in Wisconsin. Since then I may have lived 10 of the last 12 years in the Twin Cities but in my heart, I am a Wisconsinite.

    Hello, I am new to MyFitnessPal. We moved to Wausau (Kronenwetter) about 2 years ago. My husband was born and raised here. I was born and raised in Sunny San Diego so this has been a whole new adventure for me. :) I have to admit I love raising my family here but I do miss stuff like the ocean, basking in the sun, a good mall, and In-N-Out Burger. Hoping to meet new friends and get motivated while learning the best places to get outdoors and active around here!

    I'm from Emerald - a tiny little unincorporated town about an hour east of St. Paul, MN. I'm actually out in the country, though. I work in Stillwater, Minnesota!
    I'm in Downing, WI. Northwestern Wisconsin.

    We're practically neighbors! With so many posting from central or southern WI, I was surprised to see someone only about 15 miles from me!

    Hi new to the group. Just moved back to mosinee (the stinky town south of wausau and north of stevens point) grew up here than moved to chicago and the to west desmoines. Now i am back.

    Your post made me smile today. Both of my parents grew up in Wausau so when I was a kid we made a lot of trips there. I remember so vividly going through "stinky town" and then knowing that we would be at Grandma's house soon.

    It's a beautiful area.

    yeah it seems like no one has heard of mosinee what you just say the name but you say its the stinky town and they automatically know where it is. mosinee not know for the central wisconsin airport, not know for the paper mill, just known for its smell. lol

    I live in Stevens Point and just moved here last fall from Iowa. Lived in Des Moines for a while, but then up north of Ames more recently.

    Welcome back to WI! I'm not too far away. I work in Wausau and live north, in the tiny little, unheard of Gleaason area. :)

    Just found the group today. I'm currently in Sheboygan with land in Bowler. We plan to move there after we sell the house we have and build our retirement castle.

    I'm in Madison. Can't believe the great weather we're having for "Bike to Work" week, usually it's cold and raining all week - this year it's sunny and in the 70's.
