I was thinking would be a great idea to create a group for the Irish :laugh: glad I went searching :bigsmile:

So I am originally from Dublin but living in Tipperary now :drinker:

    I sort of lurking in the group, hope nobody minds. I live in New Jersey (USA), but my grandfather was born in Monaghan.

    If anybody is near Monaghan, could you take a quick trip to the local museum for me to snap a picture? My great-grandfather own McDermott Carriages, and I understand there is one of his carriages in the museum. I'd love to see it!

    Hi ya... by an accident of birth I was born in Manchester to Irish parents... they came home (Dublin) over 20 years ago bringing 6 kids with them.... So Dublin is my home... big effinity to Wexford and Leitrim though, where my grandparents are from...
