Anyone up for a Weekly Challenge for our hard working moms?
We could do a food challenge and an exercise challenge?

Sounds good to me....what were you thinking ? I say maybe for the exercise challenge set a goal workout time for the week, like our goal could be to workout for 120 minutes this week. Something like that maybe ?
Food wise I am lost, lol :laugh: - I totally have no idea what to suggest for that....0 -
If it's a food goal, then I think we should try a tough one.... or one that I find tough!!! We should pick a day and each try to be at or within 10% of our daily protein intake. It's hard for me to get enough protein in the day and I'd like to work toward that more.... really push myself to find creative ways to get some extra protein in... especially at breakfast!0

You could set your own challenge too???
Like for me I'm having a hard time getting my veggies in and my workouts!
So my personal challenge would be at least 1-3 veggies per day! And 30 minutes on the treadmill. We could jsut post our own challenges and cheer eachother on.0 -
I like the idea of weekly challenges- they keep me on task and often focus on something I wouldn't think of or do on my own.
Ideas:
Exercise-
a certain number of minutes or reps a day/week
new exercises
a certain milage a week
commercial breaks (exercises done in 2 minute spurts like during a commercial)
Food:
getting the recommended . . . . . each day (one week could be fiber, one week could be protein, it could change each week to keep us on point with nutrition)
Avoiding a certain time of day (I eat when I get home from school- and not usually good stuff, so not eating between 3-5 would be a great challenge for me)0 -
I like the idea of a weekly challenge b/c then I hold myself to it b/c i don't want to let you all done ya know?? ...0

I am always up for a challenge. . . maybe see who can get the most miles in. .. :bigsmile:
EDIT: Or see who can burn the most calories in a one week! Just a thought.0 -

I guess "Winner" isn't really a good word! I will pick someone at the end of the week to pick next weeks challenge! :laugh:0
