Protein powder shakes are the first simple option. Surprisingly beyond that, I rely heavily on vegetarian options. Lots of protein in things like Almond based cheese and vegetarian meat substitutes. One product, Smart Dogs (hot dog replacement) is made purely from vegetable protein. They are also useful because you can get a good dose of protein for very few calories. The jumbo ones are 15 grams of protein for only 80 calories. Eggbeaters is also a great, low-cal option for protein, as is Kashi Go-Lean cereal.

I try shakes and bars, you know protein bars, not bar bars. LOL Have a GOOD night.
  • I like protein shakes a lot more than the bars. I didn't know vegetarian products were a good source of protein. Thanks for sharing! I can't wait to try some.
  • Thank you for your posting, never taught of protein shakes or bars.
