Really low calories = starvation?

I am finding that I am having really low caloric intake on this diet... and then with exercise it is extremely low. Is this safe? For those of you that are on it, what is your average caloric intake a day?

Mine seems to be 800 - 1000

  • I've only been on it 4 days, but I too have seen low calorie days. I have never been on an exercise plan before, so I'm just doing the 17 minutes a day.

    1st Day - 820
    2nd Day - 656
    3rd Day - 776

    That is net, after my exercise which is usually only subtracting about 100 calories a day.

    You won't go into starvation mode that quickly. Do the Accelerate cycle for 17-days with the low calories to start. In the next cycle, make sure you up the calories a bit, while still sticking to the proper food choices. I found that I needed to add flavored whey protein powder to my yogurt and some other foods to bump up the calories and protein while keeping the fat and starch low.

    If you are exercising properly while on Accelerate, you will not go into starvation mode.

    My net calories tended towards 700-800 or so for my first Accelerate cycle.
    For the second time through, I bumped it up to 900-1000.
