Anybody have any cool plans for the weekend?
I'll be going to hang out w/my twin sis (who I'm trying to get to join) and my mom (who's joined and lost 5lbs already!!) over in bowie MD. Just had a new niece in March..so it's always fun to play (and by play I mean make baby faces) w/her.. !
Other than that, perhaps heading to the new H St. corridor tonight to catch a couple of friends DJ..

Going to Power Plant tonight, then step aerobics class tomorrow morning (hopefully, if not too hung over) and probably headed to Eastern Shore to visit with family as well. It's not very often I have a weekend off during Saturday/Sunday so I'm planning to take full advantage!0

Might check out the new bookstore in Waldorf today with the kids. I was totally bummed they closed down our Borders. Everyone in the neighborhood used to hang out there and mooch their free wifi LOL! (Tee hee, yeah my life is that boring).
Also, will be drilling the kid on his spelling bee words this weekend. (He will be sick of me when this is all over with). Also, I am taking the dogs to their favorite dog park and let them run loose and sniff each other to their heart's content. Finally, I am gonna try and get my money's worth out of that elliptical machine that has been collecting dust this weekend...0 -

Cool, you're a twin huh? My brother just had twin girls. They are such cuties and they are nothing alike. You're reminded me that I can't wait to see them again...0 -
Tonight is definitely a rest night (I am so sore from kickboxing two nights in a row)! Tomorrow is a meeting in the morning then possibly garden winterization and then an outing with a close friend from college to Reston Town Center.

Aww..that's great!! Check this out.. I have 2 older sisters that are twins as well. My mom had 2 sets.. crazy right?

I worked 13 hours yesterday so my brain is numb...need coffee. Need oil change so will peel out of bed and get that done. Business first maybe fun later.0

I'm in Virgina Beach right now on a vacation right now. Going to see Gladys Knight tonight, outlet shopping Saturday in Williamsburg so that should be a really nice retail therapy session, then back to Baltimore on Sunday. I'll probably get together with friends to have a few "beverages" and watch football!! :happy:0

I love kickboxing. I got lucky in that there's a karate studio that does it.
That's the one. There's also an ice skating rink, a wine bar, and a movie theatre. 0 -

Wow, the Power Plant is still there? I haven't been there in ages!! What's in there now? I heard they opened a new, small concert venue near there called the Baltimore Soundstage. Sounds like it is similar to The Birchmere in VA. I love live music and will travel pretty much anywhere between NY and VA for a good concert!!0 -
Yesterday I went down to the National Portrait Gallery with my boyfriend because we hadn't been yet, then we ate at Rasika, the Indian place nearby and I had a WONDERFUL stew with sweet potatoes that was very low calorie. Then we went to the Comedy Spot because I'm hoping to audition for the improv troupe there on Tuesday and I wanted to introduce myself. Today we just got back from Great Falls which was wonderful. We hiked for about two hours and covered about six miles before sitting to a wonderful lunch by the Potomac. I posted pictures for those who were wondering what that area is like to hike in on the hike/run/walk discussion.

This weekend I went to Hagerstown and ate at Sakura.... had WAAAAY too much Sushi. Now i'm down in Baltimore (Lexington Market Area) doing some work... Was a fun Friday but boring Saturday... going back home to do more work and drink some water!
The other weekend I went to Gambrill Park in Frederick and did some walking around the fire pond and driving through back back roads around the giant lake. Hopefully next weekend will be more interesting because it's back to work tomorrow night!0
