So I had to join, IM from the san antonio area, la vernia to be exact, but displaced in VA. My husband is army anyways, im drinking a couple Shiner Bocks because im homesick :drinker:

My husband and I moved to VA from TX and when we got there people told us Texans never last more than a year up there. They always go home.:noway: One Texan who had been sticking it out for 3 years at my husband's office said he liked just listening to our accents. Really depressed guy. :brokenheart: No one more miserable than a homesick Texan:sad:
We wound up lasting 6 months or so up there, mostly because watching Pure Country over and over again made us temporarily feel better!!! Then he quit and we were back home within days!
Just wanted to share so you'll know someone knows how you feel !
