Hello! Any weekend races?
Any training?

My foot is feeling fantastic. I am feeling so positive about starting to run again. I haven't had any pain at all in a few days. I am super super excited! So I may do a slow 3 miles tomorrow!

Did 6 miles this morning, starting training (and proper diet) on Monday. Good luck with your run tomorrow.

I've started running hills per advice from AZTrailrunner and ran 4 times this week. Gonna take the weekend of and hit it hard Monday morning!

I have no races this weekend. I've been tending to a sick child the last two days, so I'm really hoping to get in a 5-6 mile run today. I NEED it!

Nothing planned for right now, mostly just trying to sleep between shifts this weekend. I hate doing three in a row! Have a 17 mile run planned for Monday, so excited for that one!

Today, I did an interval workout. It was hard, but good! I did a total of 5 miles, with a mile warm up and a mile cool down. So glad its done!
I have been using the runkeeper app to track my runs and pace etc etc. We do have a garmin, but my husband runs too so he usually uses that. What does everyone use for gps device?

The weather is terrible this weekend, cold, windy (40mph gusts) and rain. I opted to stay in doors, and hopefully can get that 15 miles in tomorrow. I did Asylum: Vertical Plyo, ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes, and did Asylum: Relief.

I may end up back on the treadmill during the big college football game this evening :)

No weekend races! In fact, today was the first Saturday since June that I haven't run. I did some TurboFire though. My hamstrings are finally feeling normal after my marathon...seems like it was a month ago already and it's only been a week!

I made a plan for my next training schedule though, starting in Jan...already want to get started!

I haven't run since my marathon on Sunday. I am getting itchy to get back out! I've had some swelling in my right ankle, if it looks good, I'm going out for an easy run tomorrow.

I'm still running for recovery, but training for my next race, (half marathon in December) basically starts on Monday.

Awesome! I shaved 5 minutes off my 5k time as well, though somehow I managed that reduction in a month... Different race, but still...

    Happy Sunday!

Sunday is my long running day, I am still rebuilding from a foot injury during my half-mary in October. Im hoping to get about 6 miles in today.

Have a beautiful day everyone! Great job on the races, setting a PR is a great feeling!

Great PR, congratulations...& in the wind too! Yesterday was my off day, today I ran 7 miles. 10k race next Saturday to look forward to. I think it's actually my first 10k; I've done lots of 5ks, several 20ks, and a marathon, but never a 10k.

I love my garmin. I don't know how I ran without it. I used to use mapmyrun.com to plan a route.

I love my garmin too :) I was running with a friend this morning who is running at slower pace than I do, so the run was slow but the company good. We did a little over 10k.... which is roughly 6.5 miles. My brain works in km for distances but pounds and ounces for weights.... Hope everyone had a good weekend :)

Great job!! It's windy here today too, opted for the treadmill instead of the 40mph winds.

I ran a slow 3 miles on the treadmill. My foot feels fine. So that seems like a good sign.

I track all my activities on RunKeeper and LOVE it. Feel free to find me and add me to your street team, or just friend me on MFP - I love how supportive the running community is
