Hardest Product to Buy Organic

Recently for me it was a kitchen counter-top cleaner that kills bacteria. I finally found one that is sold in a local store, but it took some searching.

For food, I like a snack from time to time and my girl has me hooked on chocolate covered almonds. I haven't been able to find an organic version of them anywhere around me. Currently, I savor the urge when I visit her parents in New Hampshire. I love their "A Market" up there. I guess being only able to find them states away isn't a bad thing since they are dreadful in calories.

What do you find are the hardest products to find organic?

Gee...this is tough. But I think the hardest part is when buying skin care or beauty products and flavored teas. It is hard to find them with ALL organic ingredients (besides the chemical ingredients, those don't count obviously). The bottle will say organic or the can of tea will, but when you turn it around and look at what's inside, only half of them are ACTUALLY organic. I guess half is better than nothing.

I find the same problem with Fair Trade items. Only some ingredients are certified as fair trade, but not all.
  • My fake meat products. It is nearly impossible to find it organic. Non-GMO is the best i have been able to do, which I will settle for, but some organic fake meats would be nice eh? I have to say it is also very difficult to find organic hot dog rolls... silly i know, but i can't find any near me. haha.

Yabi, I'll mail some almonds so we can snack when I'm home teehee.
