Any other 'Scapers' out there?

I've been debating posting this...
but I'm curious to know if there are any other people on MFP
that play or have played Runescape?
I've met at least one so far from an old gamers thread in the forums.

I've been playing for about 5 1/2 years.

    It's not bad.
    can be addicting to some lol

    Long story short:
    --there are 25 skills to level--all go to 99 but one of them continues up to 120 (some are members only--membership is about 5 bux a month)
    --there are about 20 non-member quests
    --there are over 50 member only quests
    --there are mini-games within the game to help with equipment & skills. (quests also help with skill levels & some equipment)
    --They just came out with a new quest this month that includes sound effects & music AND voice acting--whereas previous quests are verbally in text. (they add 1 or 2 quests each month)
    --Max combat level used to be 126 but 2 years ago they added a new skill, which puts max combat lvl up to 138
    --non-members have a limited area to play in, members can play anywhere (some areas require quests to enter)

    My hubby played ultima - that was over a decade ago.

    When we met (9 years ago) he introduced me to dark age of camelot - we played that a long time. I've never met a game that made me feel so much at home. I miss it a lot - but I only play free to play now. (PC) only

    I used to play it heaps in highschool when I had the time. I had to stop when I started uni. All my good accounts are banned anyways.

    My boyfriend still dabbles in it these days, but has slowed down heaps now that bots are obsolete.

    Hey, think I know you from another thread. :wink:

    I played Runescape in high school; I was a mining monkey, but then the game was blocked during college so I fell way, way off the bandwagon.

    Then my friends introduced me to DDO and that's the new MMORPG I play now....although I tried Dofus for awhile....
