I am finding instead of having just the long term goal of my goal weight I need lots of short term goals. My current is to get to the next size down in clothes. I have already gone down one size and am working on the next. The next size down will put me in position of not having to go straight to the larger fashions. This will be a very big day. I have been shopping in larger fashions for so long I can't remember when I last bought something in regular sizes. So, one size at a time is my goal.

My first goal is to get to 175, rest a bit, and then proceed to 150. I have short-term goals; i.e., just making it 10 pounds at a time. I keep wandering in and out of onederland. My next mini goal is to stay in onederland! I also have an exercise goal of walking from Omaha to Times Square. My first leg is Des Moines. I started Nov. 1 and I've walked 43 miles so far. 102 more miles to Des Moines. I'm guessing it will take a year to walk to Times Square. It keeps me going.
  • :flowerforyou: My weight loss goals are sort of according to the last weight that I can attach to a memory. Like my first goal is to get below 200, since that day was catastrophic for me:( Now I will be delighted to get there. That will be sometime soon. Hoping to get to 195 by Christmas. The next place is 180 because that is the last place that I stayed for a while until I worked in Hospice for a year and was so stressed and ate so poorly I gained 40 lbs that year! From there it will be 160, because that is what i got down to when my husband and I renewed our wedding vows in church. I wore a size 14 wedding dress :) success. After that it is to the 141 mark which is my goal weight, unless when I get there I decide to go on down to 135, which is what I was when I met my husband. Nice. Its all good!

My goal is 130 by X-mas morning. That gives me 6 weeks to lose 6 lbs. After that I have 5 more to lose but I don't care if it takes a year! After I hit 130 I will be switching up my fitness routine. I will cut back on cardio and start lifting weights again. I also plan on starting DVD's like PX90, Insanity and 30 Day Shred. I used to body build years ago and can't wait to get back to it!!

My goal is to get healthy and stay there. If eating to much would get me healthy I’d be there! When I get to a comfortable, healthy weight (what ever that is) I will have reached my goal and I will transition into maintenance mode where I learn to stay there.

My goal is to loose 50 pounds and have lost 6 so far. Most of it is water weight since I just started last week but 6 pounds is still 6 pounds. I want to loose it in a healthy way since I have a physical job and don't want to run into other issues because I cut out too many things. My dr wants me to loose 10 by my next appointment in January so I am almost at her desired weight for me. MFP has been great in helping me make healthier food choices when I can see how much sodium has been in some of my foods. Now with better choices I am below all the levels 95% of the time. Hey, a girl has to have a little fun once in a while!
