First Turkey of the season... Rubbed it down with olive oil and tony chacherez, hence the modeling on the skin.... Also injected it with TC's jalapeno and butter injectable marinade. It was juicy and tasty. I serve it whole until everyone is ready, then take it back to the kitchen, cut off the legs and breasts, then slice the breasts and serve on a platter with the legs as a kind-of garnish. Didn't get a picture of that though.

I have a delish cornbread stuffing recipe that was my grandmother's. I don't have any pictures of it, unfortunately. I'll be sure to take some in a couple weeks. It's not the holidays without that specific recipe. Even if I'm going to my in-laws, I bring this stuffing. Sometimes, I'll make two batches so that I can have an entire one to myself.0

That's a beautiful bird! My ILs do the big Tday feast, but I often bring brandied cranberries (my own recipe) or from-scratch dinner rolls. I love the dinner rolls, but they're so fuc%ing labor-intensive, and a little fickle. Oh, but when they're right ... they're so right.
This was the first year I did dinner rolls... I have learned to love the bread machine's dough cycle. Drop the ingredients in and let it spin for a couple hours... Pull the dough, punch it down, then form my rolls. I left them on the counter until about 15mins before we ate so they would come out of the oven and straight to the table.0 -
This year it's just me and the boyfriend, we were going to visit my family but have to postpone our trip for several reasons. So I'm doing a turkey leg for each of us! And a broccoli and cheese casserole - but with romanesco cauliflower instead - a wild rice blend pilaf w/ veggies, and a salad of some sort. If i feel up to it I'll also make dinner rolls and some sort of pie.0
