The format I thought up was something like this but please don't let this limit you. Feel free to do different goals, doesn't have to be lbs, can be inches, amount of exercise, water, nutrition or anything else.

I don't know yet what my start weight will be but hopefully a few pounds less than I am now! I am going to be sticking with lbs and i'm close to maintainance myself...

My SW right now is 171. Hopefully by 11/26 I'll still be there or slighly below. My goal would be to lose 1-2 lbs per week (which is pretty agressive) through the holidays. After the first of the year, my goal would be to lose 2 lbs per week. By June 1, 2012 I would hope to be at my goal weight of 140 lbs.

time frame is right after thanksgiving but feel free to set your goals ahead of time if you have a good idea of what your start weight might be.
I am purposely leaving this open b/c i know we all have different goals. The format above was just what i had in mind for myself. change it up however you like and for whatever days you weigh or measure on.0 -
In13 days I would like my start weight to be 293 pounds. I have been consistent with losing 2-2 1/2 pounds a week. I would like to keep that momentum up through the holidays. I thought halloween was gonna be hard for me, but it really wasn't. I have 4 kids so I had 8 pounds of candy in the house and I actually had very little of it. I am proud of myself. My goal is to be at or very close to 220 by june 3rd. I am glad that you started this.

Right now i'm trying to be very aggressive on my weight loss...so i'm hoping to lose my 20lb weightloss goal by march. I'm attempting to make it to the gym for about 6 times a week for about an hour each time....so heres a rough sketch of what i'm looking at trying....going to update of course as needed..

I would like to work with my dietician and meet the goals we agree upon and let you know what those are so you can hold me accountable.
I am not sure how much weight loss to expect as I am on a clinical trial for weight loss. I am really trying to learn how to change my eating habits and make smarter choices. I know this may sound stupid but I don't ever remeber being taught the basics about food. We were told to eat what was on our plates and we always had to eat foods that would make a lot for minimal money because we didnt have a lot of money.
If I am not a good fit for the group just let me know.

Thanks for creating this group! In August I started this quest at an all time high and am now down 24 pounds as of today (My starting weight was 228 on 8/23/2011). I am a runner and pace lead (a very slow group - we are run/walkers) - so the bulk of my exercise comes from my running/walking.
As of today I weigh 204 - I'm hoping by Thanksgiving when this kicks off to be at 199.
Mini Goal #1 - 195 (12/6/2011) - my birthday
Mini Goal #2 - 190 (1/7/2012) - Frigid 5k time trials race
Mini Goal #3 - 185 (3/25/2012) - Rock 'n Roll Half Marathon
End Weight - 175 (June 1, 2012)
I will reevaluate my end weight goal once I hit it and decide how much more, if any I want to lose...I'm 5'3 and I know that 175 is a far cry from those "standards" - but I am doing this for me, not "standards" from MetLife, etc.0 -

I dont know what my starting weight will be but I'm 189 as of today! I just had surgery so Idk if Ill be able to work out or do much until 11/26. I am definitely committed to losing weight. It's starting to get harder for me to lose weight as fast as I did before! I'm hoping to lose a lb or two a week and be at least 170(50lbs was my second major goal) or under by March 18th for my bday!!!

Good afternoon! (it's 2:36pm where I am )
My goals...Hmmm...I'm trying REALLY hard not to focus a lot on the scale because the scale doesn't measure how much muscles I've gained - well it shows it with a weight gain and that doesn't really put a smile on my face - and it doesn't show many other factors.
So my goals:
-Not to rely too much on weight
-Try to focus on measurements
-Workout at least 30 minutes a day.
-Burn more than 1,000 everytime I workout0 -

This is a great idea since the holidays are always tough. I don't want to fall back into old, bad habits with my eating, so being accountable here will definitely help. I'll weigh in the weekend following Thanksgiving and post my starting weight then. I'm not specifying any amount of weight I want to lose each week because weight loss is very slow for me. I really just want to continue going down in weight instead of UP!! I hit many plateaus, but I've gotten used to that and feel that in the long run it may help me keep the weight I do lose off longer.

I have to be aggressive and work toward 2 lbs a week at first. I'm carrying way too much weight and it's just physically exhausting - not to mention the mental/emotional impact. Given the switch from junk and pop I'm thinking two pounds a week will be easy at first if I stick to my plan but as time goes on it'll be more difficult. I can do it though - I know I can and it's actually kind of exciting to lay it out. Thanks!

As of today im 198. I will probably be 192 by 11/27. So my goals are:

Right now my goal is to get back on track, i have been off MFP for quite sometime and just logged back in. I have had success with site before, losing 48lbs, i have gained 7lbs back since i got off track, it feels like much more but the Dr. scale says 7 so i am going with that.. I hope to reach my goal weight of 135 to 140 by the end of 2012. i want to lose 84lbs by end of year. Short term goal is 1 to 2 lbs per week.
I am having trouble getting motivated to exercise this time around. I am going to begin with an in home walking video and go from them.

My goal is to get back on track! I got to my happy weight last Spring using MFP. I gained about 10 lbs back since then so I want to get back down to where I was...and stay there!!!
