Markham resident here but I work in the Financial District and since I spend more time at work then at home I figured this was a good group to join!
You may see me power walking through the streets in running shoes, why aren’t running shoes more popular down here? They go just fine with a suit, HA!

I walk by the Financial District every morning!
I can't bring myself to wear running shoes yet with my work clothes, especially skirts. One of these days! I can still walk pretty fast in my boots though. Just wish the other people on the sidewalk either moved out of the way or kept a half decent pace!0 -
My bf wears running shoes with biz casual, because he rides his bike to work. -.- function > fashion.0

I bought myself some Mary-Jane style Skecher Shape Ups and they are BRILLIANT! I wear them at work all day so now I don't have to constantly change my shoes (I've only worn them with pants though, not skirts – I would wear them on the Go Train with skirts but put nicer heals on at work) and it's like walking on pillows! I highly recommend them if you do a lot of walking.0
