How many extra calories are you ladies adding onto you given daily calorie intake? The site had me at 1380 and i added 500 extra because i feel like i need the calories for my milk but i am considering dropping it to 300 extra because i am having trouble eating that many calories. What are you ladies doing?

    I'm using the mommy's milk one because it's 300 calories and it also compensates for fat and protein etc. I'm still having problems getting all the calories it says though. If I'm full, I just ignore it and leave the extra calories for if I need a midnight snack.
  • I've been curious how to compensate for BFing. What do you mean the "mommy's milk one?" Is there a pre-programmed tool for this? Thanks!

  • I am getting 2,585 calories a day. Seems to be working so far. I think you have to make sure you are getting enough or your body will hold on to fat and store it. Make sure you are getting good calories. Increase your fruits and veggies. A friend on cafemom told me this........


    BMR: 1743+500 ( BFIng)=2243

    Maintenance while working out 1-3 days per week: 2243*1.375=3084

    To lose 1 lb per week: 3084-500=2584

    Your ideal calorie range while working out 1-3 days per week and BFing is 2243-2584 calories per day.
