Tampa Bay Walk Now for Autism Speaks!

Hey everyone! I'm a Team Captain with Autism Speaks. For those that don't know, it's a walk done every year, many many times, in different cities...Tampa's is in April (Saturday, April 21st 2011, to be exact) and it's done to benefit the Autism Speaks organization. It is definitely a WALK, not a run, as there are a lot of families there with autistic and special needs children. I did notice last year, that the park that was chozen (Al Lopez) has a track, and the first lap was when pretty much EVERYONE was out there walking...the second and third lap proved to be a little too much for some people, and there were significantly less people walking, but it opened up the path for joggers, which my boyfriend did. So if you'd rather jog, that's a possibility, too! I participated last year as a team captain, and my team consisted of friends and family. However, I'm open to anyone and everyone joining! And you don't have to join my team, if you'd like to make your own team for yourself, your family, your company, etc., go for it!
