Anyone drink it? We brewed it years ago to help my mother's body heal from Wagner's syndrom- which is caused by an overload of toxins in the body. We just ordered another mushroom and are going to start brewing it again.

  • I drink it. Love the stuff but haven't drunk it consistency to see the long term results although i feel better soon after drinking it. I make it myself because its so expensive in the health food shops (and hard to find in Australia). I made my mushroom scoby from scratch so its not very impressive yet and takes a few weeks for the brew to ferment but its slowly getting there.

I've only ever tried the bottled Kombucha, and reallly like the Lemon Ginger, yummy. It's pretty low in sugar, so is it okay for Primal?

Yes, the fermentation process and the mushroom eat the sugar up, fermented foods / drinks are GREAT for the primal lifestyle!!

    I love Kombucha.

We've had several batches so far.. and are experimenting with flavored.. grape and cranberry are really good orange was terrible. I have also found that a batch that has turned to vinegar is good for the digestion.A few tbs of kombucha in hot water with some lemon juice before a meal really helps my celiac tummy.
