Muhammara - roasted red pepper dip

I discovered this lovely roasted red pepper dip last week, and I am thrilled with the results. It is the perfect mix of sweet and savory, not to mention an abundant source of both vegetables and protein. I followed the directions up to the adding of the olive oil, which I left out, and it didn't seem to affect the taste at all. I would also recommend you do the garlic and onion to taste because the quantity she asks for is bit overwhelming.

I calculated the calories, and it is 137 calories per 100 grams (without oil). If you add .5 cup of panko, as I did to make the dip thicker, it brings it up to 150 calories per serving.
