What's for Thankgiving?

So, on a holiday that's built around a large bird, I'm curious what you will have for Thanksgiving? Will you just enjoy some side dishes or will you have seafood? We're going to my brother's house so I'll have a few side dishes. It does help with calorie constraints if there's no turkey, gravy, stuffing..etc. I'm bringing some pumpkin bread and I'm sure they'll be plenty of pies.

What about you?

Usually I just go for the sides like stuffing, potatoes and cauliflower with cheese sauce (i know-not traditional but we grew up with it so I LOVE it!) but this year, I bought a Tofurkey "roast" and a tub of Tofurkey "giblet gravy" I'm not sure how that will be. Anyone ever try the Tofurkey stuff?

Well. I'm a little late for this post, but I had a chipotle make salmon (amazing!!! My girlfriend who doesn't really like salmon devoured it!) I had a veggi broth gravy and as for stuffing...a non-traditional type with artichoke hearts and morning star farms veg sausage crumbles! It was all so amazing!
  • I had just the usual sides. Stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, green bean casserol, a cranberry jello salad, cranberries, rolls, and rabbit food lol. My family isn't accepting of my eating habits though. I had turkey on my plate because of this. Just so no one would notice and give me a hard time, my brother helped me out. Whenever someone wasn't looking, he would take part of the meat off my plate. Even though I only see my bro a couple times a year now, I am really glad at least one person in my family is ok with how I eat.

I make a tofu, cashew and pine nut roast with vegetable gravy to go with the normal sides. Bliss!
