What do you think, when it comes to healthcare, should companies (who provide insurance for their empoyees), healthcare providers, pharmacists, etc. have the legal right for conscience protection?

Do you mean those people who take a job as a pharmacist then refuse to give out the morning after pill and things like that?

If so, then no, they don't have the right to conscience protection. Should a racist teacher have the right to refuse to teach black kids? Should a cop have the right to refuse to investigate a crime against a hooker? No one just wakes up one day and says "I think I'll be a pharmacist." then goes and gets a job at CVS. They know before, during, and after their training if they have a problem with working with certain people or things. If they can't do all aspects of their job then they need to get a different job. If they choose that job then they need to be prepared for all aspects of it.

The ONLY time I could get on board with this would be a doctor/pharmacist/etc working for say a Catholic hospital that receives no compensation from any government funds. But in general, my answer would be an emphatic no, or be prepared to be fired. If people are refusing to do part of their job, then they should expect to be fired.
