What you eat

I have Fibromyalgia and have found that my diet has a big part of whether or not I have a flair up. For instance I had a cheat meal yesterday and wow I am in pain today. I had a fish fry at a local bar didn't even think it could cause a flair up. Anyone else notice diet has a effect on your condition?

For me this is true. I have adopted a "close to the ground" kind of diet. I love it. I rarely eat anything processed (had mcdonalds today, ew) I don't eat my starches with protiens. This has made a world of difference, i have much more energy and just a sense of well being:) I'm thankful:)0

Yes! very much so. I have been eating poorly since Thursday and am feeling it. Back to Raw tomorrow which seems to agree with me the most.0

I have to agree, with Thanksgiving (2 thanksgivings to be exact) I feel aweful! so tomorrow all the left overs are going in the trash and I'm back to my "close to the ground" way of life!0 -
Yes, the more processed, fried, and red meat I eat, the more pain for me.0

I also find that eating junk makes everything worse even though it seems convenient at the time. I feel best when I eat vegetarian and raw. I'm getting to where I'd rather be hungry than eat things that I'll have payback for later...0

I just had a woman tell me that she "had" fibro, started eating clean, and after 6 weeks, she is pain free!! That really excites me, my husband and I are looking into it,it will be hard to give up certain things, but if I can have at least less pain, I will try it.0
