I have a folder on my computer at home with row upon row of photos that I find inspiring. Some of them are celebrities (I am a huge fan of Milla Jovovich and Marilyn Monroe, amung several others) and some of them are just random photos from places like deviant art. I love the fitness motivational posters as well, a big favorite of mine being the Hammer Fitness, "You're right, it's easier to..." poster.

I love reading the success stories on here as well. Real people with real success. It's not some infomercial or photoshopped beauty. It's real and achievable awesomeness.

What/ Who do you guys look to for inspiration on your journey?

I thought a lot about this...What motivates me...Who do I look to for inspiration...

There are lots of weight loss stories on here that I find motivational and inspiring. I too love motivational posters (I got my "page title" from one of the posters on your original blog, lol).

As for what motivates me, I'd have to say, feeling good about myself. With my weight loss to date has come a fair amount of confidence and self esteem. It's more than a little addictive

Inspiration was a little harder to put my finger on. Honestly though, my biggest inspiration, is myself. I know what I've been through over the past 8 months and what I've had to work through to get where I am today. The fact that I'm standing here today down 37 lbs (official tomorrow, lol), is an outcome I couldn't have dreamed of! That inspires me to continue along this path!

I have a folder full of photos of someone who lost lots of weight. I also have one of those photos as my phone wallpaper. Seeing how much weight this person lost really helps motivate me.

And in case anyone isn't sure, I'm talking about me! 2006 version of me lost 86 pounds and seeing myself slim reminds me of how I used to look. It also shows me what I can do if I put my mind to it. I did it once, I can do it again!!
