Hi,

My favourite blend at the moment is Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang and Rose Absolute Essential Oils in a Sweet Almond Oil base.

What is yours?

Oh gosh, picking a favorite is so hard for me to do. It depends on wat I. Am needing at the moment. Here area few and a bit of info behind them:

    FOR HEALTH:

Thieves Oil- it is called thieves' oil because, as the legend goes, during the black plague, there were a bunch of graverobbers who never got sick, even when they robbed the graves of plague victims. When they were caught, it was revealed that they used a blend of 5 oils which are antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral. A Thieves' Oil blend is available from Young Living, but it is also easy to blend your own. I will post the recipe later, after I look it up. I use this blend when I clean the house.

On Guard- is another antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral oil blend available from doTERRA. It tastes much better than thieves oil, and I always keep it on hand. It has wild orange and clove andsome other stuff in it. On Guard has been shown to even kill MRSA because it keeps bacteria from talking to each other to learn evasive maneuvers! I diffuse it, use it on the bottom of my feet, and tae it orally ether in water or straight from the bottle under my tongue. At work, I carry a mister bottle with 4oz water and a drop of On Guard and a drp or two of lemon oil and spray te phones and counters in my work area.

    TO HELP WITH BREATHING:

Breath- this oil blend is also from doTERRA. It is a combination of peppermint, ravensara, eucalyptus radiata and a few others. This worked better than my nebulizer and inhalers when I had an upper respiratory issue a few weks ago. I also aways have this one with me. Thisis my favorite blend to help with asthma. I have a friend who was diagnosed a few years ago with a paralyzed diaphram, making it impossible for him to take full, deep breaths. He now uses Breathe regularly and for the first time in years can breathe deeply. When he first started using it, he began coughing up green and yellow crap that had been stuck in his lungs for who knows how long.

Ravensara- is availble from Young Living, and a couple other suppliers. If I had to choose one single oil fr astma or upper respiratory issues, this would be it. It is hard to find though.

    FOR WEIGHT LOSS:

Slim and Sassy- by doTERRA. I was skeptical at first that an essential oil could help with weight loss, but after I plateaued for a couple of months, I strted usingthis and it jump started me again. It has peppermint and grapefruit oil, among others.

FOR RELAXATION, STRESS RELIEF ANDJUST PLAIN SMELLING GOOD:

Joy- by Young Living. I hve no idea what is in it, but it smells divine!

Balance- by doTERRA. Yummy smell with rosewood and frankincense, among others. Brings a senceof calm and, well, balance. I use this when I am stressed or getting sick. There isa really cool video that shows a blood smear under a microscope. Before, the cells were all glomed together and congested. 30 seconds after balance, they were all floating happily on the slide.

Awesome! please send me the recipes, I've been so lazy of late ans stick to my favorites, though I've currently added ylang ylang and ginger to my shower gel, my favorite night cream has rose chamomile (german) and frankinsence added and day cream neroli geranium and rosewood. I was always taught 2-3 can act as a synergy any more can end up fighting (please correct me if this is no longer so). Rosemary is a favorite for breathing problems and headache and for when you are tired and ginger for sickness and upset tummies. I've never ingested them usually diluted in almond or apricot kernal oil or neat on a tissue and inhaled.

I love that idea. I just got some frankinscence, ad I have wild orange. Maybe I'll put them in the diffuser today. :-)
