Trail Races in your local area...

I've just recently signed up for the Frosty Fifty trail race in Winston Salem NC, on January 7th 2012. Is anyone else running this race? If not, then what races are you running in your local area. You might be surprised to find out that there are others in your local area with similar fitness goals and interests...:smile:

    I am so excited! I just (last night) found out that my local Mountain Bike trails (the ones I run) are holding a 10K and half marathon in November 2012.

    I am thrilled. Now, if the date works out. (My son is a really good Soccer player and I vowed never to put myself before my kids.)
    But, if the date works out, I will definitely be running this race.

    Not sure if I will do the 10K or the Half. (My goal is the Disney Half in Jan 2013 and I think I really want that to be my first. ) But, on the other hand, I have spent many hours running these trails and it might be nice to be able to say it was my first.

    We'll see!
