I am sure I suffer with sad. I cannot stand the dark mornings and evenings! If it is raining I am as miserable as you can get! Hate the rain. Love daylight and sunshine! Bring on the summer!

I feel the same way......it is so depressing going to work and coming home in darkness. Also I go to the gym at 5:45am 2 before work and it was definitely easier to do so in the summer months :-(

I agree - felt exactly the same today. I cycled in to work and it's the first time I've cycled in at 7am and it's not got light on my journey. I hate it - the only time I see daylight is out of the office window through the blinds. I hate the short days and the long dark nights, really brings my mood down and then I find it hard to motivate myself to exercise and eat healthily. Maybe recognising that means I can overcome it....hope so!!

Think positive, this time next month we've passed the shortest day and the days will be lengthening little by little :-)

    Dark mornings are the worst...
    Don't you just hate them?
You feel miserable when you are on your way to work, and then even more miserable when you're on your way home..

You have to dress in bright colours if you want to go jogging, but you feel like you don't want to put the effort in because it's dark..
Bring on the summer.... (I say summer lol... Should say bring on the lighter days lol)

hehe I never realised that different parts of the world were like this when I lived in Australia - there it is just light in the day and dark in the night haha. I actually prefer the dark mornings to the light mornings since they tend to wake me up at 4am! Not so keen on walking to the train station in the dark in the afternoon though!

Just another 2 weeks to go then it will (very gradually) start to get lighter a little earlier and darker a little later. This time of year is hard in the UK, but to be positive I think if we can lose weight and keep exercising at this time of year, then we can do it anytime!
