This is a link to my website, that shows the disappearing set house in Surrey. On satellite images, it's not there, just an empty field, but on street view (when the car was taking pics on that street) it was there! Pretty cool.

I don't see why they couldn't have left it standing and maybe converted it into a tourist attraction or coffee house.

    This is the house they used in Twilight, when they filmed some of the movie in St. Helens, Oregon. I think later they built a prop house in Canada for the set. The people who own this house are really sensitive to people peaking in the windows, so they have a sign on their tree asking people to respect their privacy. Hey would we do something like that? ha ha ha I wish we had gone into town to look for more, but just ran out of time and daylight on our trip.

    In case you guys didn't hear, the house caught on fire. I'm not sure if it's a total loss or what, but it caught on fire earlier this year. It's so sad! The whole town is so cute though, in case you guys decide to go there :) They even painted on the back-end of the buildings to make it look old and stuff during the "port angeles" scene :)

    sykin, thank you for sharing!! Oh no, that is so sad! I hate that! I'm glad I got a chance to see it.
    When we went back to Forks in 2010, they told us that someone had tried to burn the sign at the High School, but fortunately someone caught it and put it out. What is it with the haters out there?
