    Has Facebook

I have like 30 friends...limited to family and CLOSE friends.

It does make it awkward when customers say, "I requested you on FB and you haven't accepted my request." :noway:

If someone requests me that I don't want on my friends list but don't feel like dealing with the whole "I'm not accepting you on purpose" discussion, I lie and say that FB must be having problems because I just NEVER got that request!

I've done both. I haven't had much of a problem with it, though. I did have one customer who was a regular that added me, and messaged me, and we were both kinda "flirty" for a while, so it didn't bother me that he added me, but it did bother me when he started sending me private messages THE EVENING I ADDED HIM asking me to come over to his house. :noway: He was deleted shortly after, and didn't frequent the cafe as much, haha.

I do like Facebook. I went from over 200 friends, down to a little over 100. I have kept it to REAL friends, people I like to follow (such as this guy who is friends with an old friend of mine who does updates and posts photos of Florida's state parks that I like to visit and go to...stuff like that), relatives, and that is it. I used to have people on there who added me simply because they know my cousin or they know my friend or my coworker, blah blah...I deleted them. Also, if they weren't someone I liked to follow, such as the scenario I mentioned earlier, and I've never even had a conversation with the person, then I deleted them. My Facebook is happier with fewer people clogging up my news feed. I've never considered getting rid of my Facebook.

Oh, and for those of you who hate the new layout and stuff, there's a way to bypass it. I've never tried it for IE or Firefox, but I use it for Chrome, and it works. My Facebook went through the stupid changes, but when I installed the thing for Chrome, it took it back to the original layout.

You can also download the Social Fixer browser extension (formerly known as Better Facebook) and you can customize your options on what you do and don't want to see etc.

If it wasn't for my family, I would probably consider it.
