Day 2 of Olivia method and....

I have been stuck at the same weight for 3 weeks...still relentlessly trying to eat around 1000-1200 calories to achieve an acceptable enough deficit to lose at a satisfactory weight...with no luck. I switched over when the thread came out...and I'm thrilled to say just by eating my BMR and keeping my deficit around 600-800 calories, I dropped 2.6 pounds already. No, not saying it was fat in that time period, but something kick started my body again....and that makes me a happy camper...and a full one.

I've been netting 1294 for the last 10 days. Been annoyingly hungry because of p90x and Insanity workouts. Sooo I haven't lost anything yet. I guess I need to dig deeper and go lower in my deficits.0

Whats your BMR? I just messaged Oilvia because I am always so confused as to eat my goal netwise or food intake wise. My BMR is 1100-1200 (I'm 5'2") and my maintenance is 1560 (other sites show a few hundred higher). So Olivia (hope I'm getting this right Olivia) says first listen to your body if your hungry eat and/or eat to your BMR or 100 higher on food intake and ignor the net. But if your doing those workouts then you need more than 1294 and thats why you're hungry. For me if I would be doing those workouts i would be burning at least 600+ cals (I'm short so the taller the more you burn of course) and that would put me well over 2000. So maybe you're going below the 1000 deficit? Because if you are and not eating enough you wont lose.0 -

I know I can create a 900 deficit. Which would I think mean 700 NET calories. My BMR is 1295. I've been consuming between 1500 and 1800 calories and creating my deficit with exercise. I burn on average of 500 calories a day. I should try eating between 1295 and 1650 around. That's why I have to dig deeper, like Sean T says, lol. I think when you are dieting you are supposed to feel a bit of a slight hunger. An uncomfortableness of sorts.0 -

Yeah I was down yet another pound this morning making a loss of over 7 pounds out of nowhere since Wednesday. The only other thing I could even remotely attribute it to was this new spinach protein smoothie I'm drinking every morning for breakfast. I started it around the same day.0
