Just curious, or is burns day the only day we really celebrate as a nation? Our Uni had a ceilidh xD
Also, the awkward moment when.....
My English friend : "does scotland have a national anthem?"
me: "hahaha. Yes. Wanna hear it? ;]"
That's why I love my country, because scottish pride is less about scottish pride and more about hating the english :L
Most countries have an anthem that is like "our country is so great because...."
ours is more "we are so much better than england because...."

It was a very busy day work-wise for me, so I didn't celebrate it at all, sorry :ohwell:
On Burns' Night I do usually treat myself to some Haggis & neeps (something my Sassenach husband finds disgusting :laugh: )
But for me it's Hogmanay that gets my vote every time!
