How many calories do you burn in your workouts?

Just wondering how many calories you girls burn in your workouts. I seem to have this anxiety about my calorie burning... I have this need or whatever you would call it that I HAVE to burn at least 1000 calories in my workouts! I was bored at work today and was browsing random diaries and wonder if I am a little abnormal?

Does anyone else burn that much working out or am obsessing a little too much

    haha.... i burn about 200-300 a workout. and that works for me :O) it takes alot of the guesswork out of "Do I? or Don't I?" eat back all those calories.

    400-700 (HRM calculated), depends on what I do that day. Occasionally, when I have the time, it's more like 800-100 - if, for instance, I have 90 minutes at the gym instead of my usual 60.

    It totally depends for me-- if I'm doing a dvd at home, it can be anywhere between 175-450 based on which it is and I'm good with that. But then when I run, if I burn less than 600, I feel like it wasn't even worth it-- I'm weird!

    I say all this, but then I'm also having trouble even fitting in exercise at all with it being the end of the semester-- so really, I'm happy with any burn at all right now!

    I do a pretty wide variety of exercises, so I may burn less than 200 if I do an hour of Yoga, or I may burn over 600 if I do an hour of Zumba. I haven't burned more than 1000 in a long time (I burned a lot more doing the same exercises when I was heavier), and that's ok with me. I exercise more to be fit and healthy than to burn calories since I'm on maintenance and don't really want to end up with a deficit very often.

    I burn around 200-400 depending on what I do. I currently log it all like circuit training, the 30 day shred video, six week six pack abs, and then recently one of my co-workers started giving me some workout classes for free =) So those were painful. 450 cal burn on those, 40 mins.

    Depends on what I'm doing, too. A pilates video? ~130 calories. Zumba class ~ 600 calories.

    If I'm doing cardio- I try to burn at least 250 calories.

    I aim for around 500 calories per workout. That's 45-60 minutes on cardio machines for me. that's as much time as I have.....if that.
