Rough week

Not sure why this week was so hard for me. Weigh in tonight will tell me. I hate the way 1 rough week can erase 2-3 weeks progress.
Anyone else have a rough week? How do you get through them?

Hey!
Sorry you're having a rough time, but I think it's really great that you are asking for support; I'm glad you asked here too.
I have been having a rough time with weight loss at all. To be honest, I feel ashamed of myself. I have been doing so poorly and I've been too afraid to ask for help since I'm the one that runs a couple of groups on here. It's embarrassing.
WW is the only tool that I have ever used that has worked for me. When I first started it I was so impressed - I felt like I was eating ALL the time, but instead of sticking with it I let it slip.
I'm an emotional eater and I eat what I feel. Being a nursing student I know that this is a bad coping mechanism and I'm fully aware of the healthy adjustments I can make, but it's just what I do.
For me, we have a rough 2 months for December and January and there's a lot going on (we're undergoing our first IVF cycle). This is a big deal and the embodiment of every emotion I have ever felt in my life. As a result, all I can do is what gets me through the day. Ideally, once I get through exams next week I'll take some time to work on myself, but I know it's not that simple. Although it should be.
Lately I've taken to this fantastic site call Pinterest. I love it. It's full of craft ideas and I just discovered the health and fitness side of it. I've found some great ideas on there, and the motivational quotes and stuff are inspiring. Now I'm trying to turn that inspiration into action - which is why I started the Inspiration Quote thread - I'm hoping it will help someone else. And maybe someone can give me one that finally flips my action switch (so to speak).
I also have a couple of friends on here that I find to be very inspiring, and I try to follow in their footsteps - when I'm in action mode that is.
I know you have a newborn so you have a lot of other things going on in your life, and this is your first Christmas as a Mom. I can't imagine what that is like.
I wish had a magic answer for you, but all I can offer is my support.0
