Getting Started

Hi Ladies, my name is Jamie and I am started my weight loss journey this week... actually this is my second journey. I did really well last year and then my husband and I went to an all inclusive resort for our anniversary and everything went out the window. I came home and kept eating like I did there and waala... here I am today, 26 lbs heavier than I was last December. I want to lose 63.6 lbs in the next year. I think that is reasonable... AND I don't want to starve to do it. So exercise (what a foreign word) and good eating here I come!

I have done okay the last couple of days, but not great. I realize that I eat things just to eat. I don't get it but it is true. My husband had some kettle cooked barbeque potato chips and I just had to have some. I DON'T EVEN REALLY LIKE BBQ CHIPS. What is up with that??? If I am going to cheat it should at least be on something I LOVE! There must be something wired wrong somewhere.

So, my thought for today? I have to get back to my normal routines...
1. Daily devotion time with the Lord - I need to pray about my wrong wiring...
2. Planning out meals
3. Eating on time
4. Packing lunches
5. Drinking water all day instead of other stuff

Other things will fall into place as I go. I will check back tomorrow and tell you how I did.
