Autism testing

Hi everyone.
Yeah I just wanted to share with you the fact that hopefully soon I'm going to get a test for autism... I know that they often take a long time to sort out, what with the funding cuts over here in Blighty and me being 18 it might take longer.
I don't really know how to feel about it really. Some of the stress that i've been feeling for a very long time is slowly disappearing, but now new stuff id developing. Having a test means meeting someone knew something that i dread and makes my anxiety go through the roof. It's something else to hide from my parents who wouldn't welcome "people pigeon-holing me".
Nothing will happen till after Christmas now of course, but that leaves very little time before I start my course... Feeling a little like the problems are piling up again.

Thank you! I really needed to vent there. I've just started an autism support group and found some really lovely people.0
