Challenge week beg Mon 12th Decemeber

Hi Everyone
I hope you are all getting ready for christmas and the weather isnt too bad where you live.
Lets try and get out and about with our dogs this coming week and try our best to get a least half of our steps in.

Wow the weather was incredible today, wind , rain, hailstones then sleet lol
We still managed our usual walk of 2,1 miles, the dogs seemed to have fun. I can tell you I wasnt enjoying it in the least
I wish it was Spring!!!

Hmm I wonder if we really want / need this group. LOL
Only me posting this week. Anyhoo the weather was calmer today and we got out for our usual 2.1 miles about 5321 steps.

Hey there!! Today B & I walked 3 miles in our morning walk. I noticed that you were wonderinf if we still need this group. If it turns out that you are done with it, we will understand. BUT I just want you to know that you can trust that I will check in! (When I don't go away to Mexico for 6 days which will not happen again for 20 years!) Perhaps you can re-introduce it in the message boards?? Just a thought.

Hey there Chris its good to see you popping by. I think we should give this group a chance, the groups are new, so its gonna take a wee while for people to get used to them and its winter & christmas.....its kinda playing havoc with peoples schedules
I do take your point though maybe we should repost in the message boards. I will do this in January. Everyone will want to even try harder again then.

We managed to get out around the block for 25 minutes yesterday. Snow on the ground today, and I had tons to do for xmas, so I'll make the effort to get the boys out over the weekend, weather permitting.

Well, today B & I walked 7 miles! I am trying very hard to make a couple of our walks 4 miles in an hour. This means I need to run a mile because I usually walk 3 in an hour.

I think about my Sparky a lot and how much I miss her so it is truly our drive to get out walking. I can't stress it enough. I am a bit obsessive because it is all I can do to help B who seems so sad & depressed. Believe me, I am totally afraid of the rain, Here in Northern California we have been very lucky but when the sun goes away I am so afraid of falling into a dark place myself.

Surprise Surprise! B & I hiked close to 5 miles today! She was soooo happy to be off her leash and so disappointed there were no squirrels. I was happy she didn't end up in the creek again!

wow you are doing brilliantly. Hubby walked my dogs this weekend as I was up to my eyes in christmas organising lol
