Was anyone surprised to see a Baylor bear win the Heisman?

I, for one was very pleased it didn't go to a Stanford or LSU player.

    I was pleased.
I would have thrown something at the TV had that LSU kid won. I can't stand that dirty playin' smug mofo.

I went to Oklahoma Baptist Univ my freshman/sophomore year. We didn't have a football team so we whole heartedly supported Baylor in football, it being like our sister Baptist school. I graduated from OSU so my loyalty resides mostly there, but I do have a soft spot still for Baylor. I was very pleased to see this outcome!

I am glad, too, it went to Baylor. Finally, the Heisman voters got it correct by choosing the player who best impacted his team and not the one with the best stats. I'm so tired of Heisman voters looking at just stats. It's not classically about that. That's why there is the Maxwell Best Player of the Year Trophy. The Heisman needs to get back to what it was meant to be.
