Sports/Rec Meetups

Hi there Philly Peeps!
I'm not sure if anyone on here uses Meetup.com, but I thought I'd just mention that there are some GREAT sports and recreation type meetup's (mostly all are free) that are out there in our area. I'm actually a moderator of one of them, so if you join and there's an activity you've been jonesing to do, we can put it up for interest and then go from there.
The site is Meetup.com. Some of the good ones in our area are:
-- Valley Forge Sports and Recreation
--Get Out Philadelphia Adventure Group
--Philadelphia Hiking and Adventure Group
--Suburban Philly Events and Adventures Group
You can put in a search for your own interests, but these are sports, recreation-related. A lot of great people, have turned some of them onto MyFitnessPal.com -- it's definitely a fun time! Check it out if you are looking for some activities and like-minded people to do them with (hiking, volleyball, wallyball, skiing, skating, etc).

It's a great site. I also belong to some girlfriend's groups. We're going tubing in January.

I've done Philly Sport & Social and West Chester Sport & Social softball over the past couple years, and have really liked them too, but will check out meetup - thanks!0

We do hold softball events, so yes, definitely check it out!0
