Any goose hunters out there? I got my first of the year today!

    Awesome~

    I typically only hunt deer, but the Mr. hunts pretty much anything. We made goose jerky last time :)

    Congratulations on the first of the year. Our season is already done. I wanted to do some goose hunting this year but the fields where I typically hunt here in Michigan never held any birds. Last year I went on a Snow Goose hunt in Missouri. Not very good eating but fun to shoot. The best Canadian Goose hunt I ever had was in Nebraska along the Platte River about 10 years ago.

    WE are in Eastern Colorado, not far from Nebraska and right on the South Platte. I love to eat them, as does my whole fa,ily. Come on out and I'll show you how to cook them:bigsmile:
