Any home roasters on here? What do you use? What do you roast? Favorite origins? Brew methods?
I'm currently using an iRoast2, and have pretty much standardized on Sweet Maria's Mohka Kadir blend. As for single origins, I'm very very fond of Yemen and Ethiopian coffee.

As a coffee lover, I plan to do this one day. It seems much cheaper, and check out this article about using a popcorn machine.

Air poppers make great roasters! It's a great way to start out and see if it's something you plan to stick with. Many people never even bother "upgrading" from an air popper because they work perfectly well. And quite frankly, that iRoast2 that I have is nothing but a glorified air popper.0

I have roasted a couple times, but the overpoweringly horrible smell prevents me from doing it again until spring when I can take it outside. preferably when some neighbor or another is already tarring his roof. Honestly, though, I would rather just buy fresh-roasted coffee at one of my several local roasters. Let them stink up the neighborhood instead of me.
When I do roast, I use a 1920s electric popcorn kettle with the crank on the top. The coffee comes out great.0
