I just joined your group to see what kind of success you were having. I just got the book and i am reading and deciding if i want to try this or not. I am hoping you guys can tell me if you have had some success at it? Have you completed all the way to cycle 4? I am trying to find a diet or way of eating that is right for me. Any suggestions and stories stats will help out so much!

Hi! Speaking for myself, I havent logged into MFP due to the holidays.
I have not made it to C4 yet. But I can tell you, 17DD does work. It takes time to adjust to it, but its worth it. Its a lifestyle, not a diet. It gets your body used to eating healthy. You may feel withdrawal type symptoms at first, but beat through it & dont get discouraged. This group is awesome & full of support. You have nothing to lose, but the unwanted #s.
I have not measured or weighed myself lately due to holidays plus menstration (bad combo to do so), so I dont have stats to give you, but I can say I did lose about 10 lbs in first 3 weeks on C1. Today is my first day back on & am excited to lose more weight....because I know it works. I am going to start fresh by redoing C1. You will find foods & workouts that work for you. I had very few carbs & sweets daily & still lost weight. Its really about moderation & making smart choices. Its not easy...or else everyone would be thin.
Good luck!0 -

You're not invisible! It's just the holiday and many of us are on vacation and not logging at this time.
To answer your question, I have had tremendous results on the 17DD and intend to have more good results this month. I'm just getting back on track after a long holiday filled with family, fun, and travel, but I will be here if you have any further questions.0 -
Holidays sucked the life out of me! I am fully committed & ready (most importantly) to get back on track TODAY. 12/27 didnt work for me...still too many holidays & celebrations.
We can do this all together. You'll notice alot of postings more often now.
I hope you find what works for you. But reality is, losing weight is a science. Eating healthy & exercising is the only way it will happen. I love the 17dd because it works fast but is still very healthy.
Good luck & Happy New Year!!!0
