If anyone is interested, feel free to post "Before" or "Starting" pictures in this thread. If we get enough interest, we will also do a couple "Progress Pic" threads during the year.

This is an AWESOME idea... I am going to really encourage everyone to do it! Too often we get stuck on the numbers given by that little box that we call a scale. It has amazing power over us... I know that for me - I don't really "see" the loss - I know that I have gotten smaller, my checkbook and the local goodwill stores know that I have been having to buy new clothing repeatedlly. However, the only place I really see the changes are in my neck and shoulders. Everyone at work is always commenting on how different I look... so, I use photos to compare. I still think other people can see it in the photos better than I can... but it's because I get stuck in my own head and I am too critical of myself. This - public thread - will provide us with some of the feedback on changes that maybe we are not seeing on our own!
Post those photos people!

Okay, here are my pictures taken on January 2. I did not take any when I started on July 1, but this is a good start to the new year. Can't wait to see the pics in a few months. Sorry if they are too big.
