Hello all!

I am in West Houston and have been active on MFP since Nov 3, 2011. I have lost almost 25 lbs and want to lose at least 83 more. I am not a runner, but I do workout regularly - Zumba, gym, cardio at home, walking Terry Hershey park. I wouldn't mind trying to be a runner, but I have honestly never even run a straight quarter mile. Sad, I know.

Anyway...I have gained and lost between 50-100 pounds a few times in my life and I am working to lose it for good this time. No fads, no pills, no gimmicks, just eating right and exercising.

I am excited to see a Houston group - we have so much that is unique to Houston and sometimes it helps to have some support...like what on Earth to do you eat at Pappasitos when you are trying to stay in your calorie range? Or maybe if there is a Groupon for Zumba classes and a group wants to get together and go together...

    hI i was super excited to see houston represting on here! I am actually in southeast houston, but it is good to know there are other people close to you who are on the same path. much success to you and everyone else in the group!!!:wink:
