Hello everyone. Happy New Year to you all!

I am a 36 year old single mommy of 4 from SW Ontario.

I have suffered from depression since childhood and currently take 20mg of Paxil daily to help manage it. I have found over the last few years now that I am struggling to keep it in check. The Paxil is not as effective as it used to be. I have gone through several traumas, some medical issues, and have gained excessive weight. (I am 206lbs and 5ft3")

I know that losing weight will help the depresion, but it's also an equal reason why I am where I am weight wise. I find that some people just don't understand how much depression effects weight loss/gain. It's difficult to lose weight for anyone, and depression only worsens it. It gets hard to hear "just make up your mind and do it." Some days my 'mind' is just not mine.

Sorry to ramble, this is my situ in a nutshell.
I'm looking forward to learning about all of you, and your tips/success stories. Hopefully I will get to the point soon where I can share them as well ;o)

Yes, it will be definitely good to be on a schedule again! I love having the kids home, but mom's definitely feeling overwhelmed!
Thank you so much for the reply, I look forward to 'losing' with you ;oD
