I know we are all here to lose weight and are claiming to the cross, but I was wondering if it ever got under your skin when you hear the often overweight preacher/pastor standing in the front of the room talking about you shouldn't drink or smoke, but never hear them talk about weight.
I've always been under the impression that gluttony is wrong, and if we were honest with ourselves I think that all of us have at least at one time committed this act, and are now dealing with the effects of it and trying to correct it.
I don't know what everyone else thinks, maybe this is just my deal.

Iv thought about it too.. And your right, gluttony is a sin, and the after effects can be as worse as smoking/getting drunk. Ie/: (diabtes, stroke, etc) It's weird how many preachers don't talk about it. Our body is a temple.0

I'VE THOUGHT ABOUT THAT IN MY OWN LIFE. I LOVE THE LORD YET I'LL GORGE AND STUFF FOOD INTO MY MOUTH.
ANYTHING UNCHECKED CAN BECOME AN ADDICTION FOR ANYONE , EXCERCISE CAN EVEN BECOME AN UNHEALTHY ADDICTION- EVEN THOUGH WE'RE MAINTIANING THE TEMPLE OF THE LORD.
BUT YOU HAVE CHOSEN THE GOOD PART BY RECOGNIZING THAT IT CAN BE SIN LIKE SMOKING OR DRINKING OR USING DRUGS.
WE HAVE TO NOT CONDEMN PEOPLE (NOT SAYING YOU ARE), BUT REMEMBER ALL HAVE TO COME TO REALIZATION .

You're right about the gluttony part!!! But, if we're honest, we all have some sort of area where we don't honor the Lord.
