Rest Days

Hello everyone! I just started Phase 1 yesterday and already I am asking about the rest days, haha...I am geared up for today's workout, BUT my question is in regards to whether all of you are going to follow the program in that it is worded like you are supposed to take 3 full rest days before moving on to week 2. I kinda had thought you could do the 4 days (or 5 later on) where they fit into your week. Honestly it is not a problem for me to go 4 days in a row right now, but I was just curious if you all think it is necessary to follow the program that way. If I do it that way I will probably still plan on doing something else on 1 or 2 of the other days!

I am taking the rest days when I need to... I need to take it on Wed so that will stay through the rest of the program. I took another on Sunday since I ran a 5K. I will be resting again on Saturday which means that I will have two rest days together next week.
I am not sure if Sat or Sun will be my workout day when we move to 5 days a week. I am thinking that depends on what I have going on the last two weeks on the month.0 -
Thanks! I wish I knew how to delete the other posts, somehow MFP went nuts and it posted like 3 times!! Anyhow, I will probably always have Sunday as one of my rest days and probably one week day. As fabulous as 2 or 3 days off in a row sounds I just don't know if that'll be realisitc...especially if I end up getting a job!0

I am actually taking my first rest day today and then again sat and sun. I don't think it matters, but I'm lifting way heavier than I have the past year and I am VERY sore! I thought a rest day would be good so that on legs I can give it all I've got! Otherwise, I am afraid I won't get the full benefit of my leg routine!0

I plan on resting when I need it as well. I'd like to follow the program as is. Right now I am used to working out 5-6 days a week so doing only 4 is really cutting back... I am not sure how I am going to feel about that. I also don't eat right when I don't work out. So we shall see.0 -
Because I am marathon training (fool!) I will be running on at least one rest day and on another rest day I'm planning to do some yoga.0
