Skyrim for Dummies

I purchased Skyim over the weekend because of everyone saying it was awesome plus steam was having a sale. The only problem is I have no idea what is going on or what I am doing. I want to buy the prima guid but everywhere I go it is sold out. Any tips or info anyone wants to give would be much appretiated!

My biggest recommendation would be to open the instruction booklet that comes with the game and really look through the controls and menus. For me, the menus weren't intuitive, so I had to use that book to help me find everything. But once you do that, you'll have an easier time of it because you can check your quests and see how to use the map and compass to help you find where you need to go. It doesn't give you a tutorial on those things in-game, so you need to really go through the booklet and make sure you know how to access everything.

I found the exact same thing. I just ran around, stole a few cups, got killed by a bear... Really, just play around with it and you'll pick it up. Talk to everyone and pay close attention to your quest map.

I did not download this to make sure it's actually what it says it is, and please use your anti-virus software to make sure it's safe. I didn't get any alerts, but I've also never downloaded from this site. It was one of the top results when I Googled "pc skyrim instruction booklet."

almost every question can be answered online. Ask here or go to the Playstation Network forums. Everyone on there is great for a fast answer. Or just plan google it. Alot of people ask the same questions. The controls can be awkward but after a couple of times playing it, it will get better. Enjoy.
