I was recently diagnosed, I have a few friends that have severe symptoms. I must not have very severe fibro but there are days that I cannot stand the muscle aches. I have done yoga for about 3 years and have loved the help that the stretching does for the fibro , but I do not lose weight. I have recently started doing Zumba along with step aerobics and yoga and that seems to have stepped it up enough to help me start to lose but now I ache all over. I dont know if it is the fibro or just my mind! I wish I knew! I dont think I can afford to stop cuz I need to lose the weight for my health!!!!!!!!

I know that mine isn't as severe as some people have. But I definitely have the fatigue, sleep problems and a few achey spots that flare up. Just because you aren't completely debilitated doesn't mean it isn't real. You just have to learn what you can tolerate.

BLOOSANDY,I doubt that it is just in your mind. That is how fibro acts, good day, bad day, no 2 are ever the same. It helps to keep a journal, you can make more sense of it that way. Walking is what I do for the most part, just keep moving, even when it hurts a bit, that is the best thing I can tell you, after having Fibro for over 5 years. Red
